[00:00:02] Speaker A: What's up? Yeah. Welcome back to Sports on nas. Is me and Nate back at it? We're here with our special guest, Nick. Nick, tell us a little bit about where you from for me. [00:00:12] Speaker B: All right. Yo, what's good, y'all? I'm from Brooklyn, New York. You know. [00:00:18] Speaker A: Well, what you grew up playing? Like, what sports you grew up playing? [00:00:21] Speaker B: Some sports I grew up playing was basketball, a little bit of pickleball. You know, I used to dibble battle in some handball as well, you know. You know, in Marine park, you know, I get real active. [00:00:33] Speaker A: Oh, man, you know, they know it get real. In case you ain't no Nate. And Nick is from, like, the same Paul Brooklyn. Like, they fake live mad clothes. So for me, Nick, like, growing up in basketball, pickleball. Wait, you said pickleball and what else? [00:00:50] Speaker B: Pickleball. [00:00:51] Speaker A: And. And you. You like, you and your man used to play or used to do, do, do a doo. [00:00:55] Speaker B: No, I just used to tag along with my cousin, my handball. [00:00:59] Speaker C: Get serious. [00:00:59] Speaker A: Not like, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but, like, is your cousin, like, our age or like, a little. Little older? [00:01:04] Speaker B: N. They older. [00:01:05] Speaker A: Okay, yeah, yeah, that makes sense. Go crazy, bro. [00:01:12] Speaker C: They start hand and staying in front of each other. [00:01:15] Speaker A: Nah, I ain't going to lie to you. [00:01:16] Speaker C: He was nice. Hell no use. [00:01:19] Speaker A: Did it for fun. [00:01:20] Speaker B: Yeah, of course, bro. [00:01:21] Speaker C: That's real. [00:01:22] Speaker A: But, like, with basketball, where did you start off? Like, what team? How. Why? Feel me. [00:01:29] Speaker B: Well, when I was young, like, middle school, I used to play basketball because it was fun. That's really how I started off in middle school and then I used to play aau. [00:01:40] Speaker A: What team? [00:01:41] Speaker B: New York Stones. [00:01:42] Speaker A: I don't know that team. I ain't gonna lie. I only heard of gwachos, but. Yeah. You say you started off au. What? What? How are you? [00:01:57] Speaker B: I'm not even sure. I think this was probably before my freshman year, so it's probably like 12:13. Yeah, yeah, 12:13. [00:02:07] Speaker A: And how was that experience, like, with AAU in general? Like, in New York City? [00:02:12] Speaker B: Basketball in New York City is different. [00:02:16] Speaker A: Yeah, bro, that's a. That's a different island over there, bro. I'm not gonna lie, because everybody hooping, bro. Like, everybody gotta, like, everybody gotta park. [00:02:24] Speaker C: Right next to him. [00:02:25] Speaker A: Exactly. [00:02:27] Speaker C: Somebody got a ball. [00:02:29] Speaker A: All right, so, like, doing basketball so early and all that, like, where did you, like, what was your main focus with basketball? [00:02:39] Speaker B: Honestly, if I. Well, if I would have made it far, I would have made it far. But if not always had another like, goal. [00:02:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:49] Speaker B: In mind. So, like, I wouldn't just fall in one group. [00:02:52] Speaker A: Not. Yeah, yeah. So, like, going into high school, like, that's what, like, a lot of people, like, branch out to different sports. For me, like, in high school, that's when I started football and all that. You didn't think about playing all the sports besides basketball in high school, I really did. [00:03:10] Speaker B: But the only thing that really messed that up was the school that I was in, because I wasn't a charter school. [00:03:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:03:16] Speaker B: But, you know, I was still rocking with soccer. I was a good goalie, you know, I was a good goalie. [00:03:21] Speaker A: I thought we won zero games. Wait, you was in the team? Like, in the official team and you was the starting goalie? [00:03:26] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know how, but I made it happen. [00:03:30] Speaker A: You say I won zero games. Give it a bug. Like, how many goals? That was good. Like, I'm not going on. [00:03:37] Speaker B: On me. [00:03:37] Speaker A: Yeah. Like, were you free wreck or you. [00:03:48] Speaker B: A couple saves. I'm not gonna lie. [00:03:49] Speaker C: That's all that really matter, bro. [00:03:52] Speaker B: You know? [00:03:53] Speaker C: But. [00:03:55] Speaker A: Like. All right, talk about, like, your high. Yeah. Basketball experience in high school in general. Like, how was that for you, filming? Like, do you think your life with basketball and your life without basketball, like, what you think would have been different and what you think major life of, like, while basketball was in your life? If that question makes sense now. [00:04:15] Speaker B: That question makes a lot of sense, I'm not gonna lie. Being from New York and being from New York, you have to choose different directions. So with. For me, basketball was definitely. I feel like that's how I made a lot of my friends. [00:04:32] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure. A lot of people. [00:04:33] Speaker B: I branched out, made friends in my hometown, you know, in my area, in other areas. [00:04:39] Speaker A: Even here in Oswego, I feel like. Exactly. [00:04:41] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. Even in New Jersey as well. I'll go to, like, Sportica. [00:04:46] Speaker A: What's that? [00:04:47] Speaker B: It's a big, like, place, like, where, like, AU tournaments are held. And they have, like, the big, big. [00:04:54] Speaker A: Gym and they were doing free, like. Like run. [00:04:56] Speaker C: Like, no games now. [00:04:57] Speaker B: It was games. [00:04:58] Speaker A: Oh, it was games. Yeah. Okay. No, so A was fine. Now. Yeah, you play. [00:05:05] Speaker C: But I played when I was younger. I stopped playing, like, seventh grade. [00:05:09] Speaker B: AU really taught you something, bro. It really taught you to be a dog, being a pup. [00:05:16] Speaker A: I never played au, but I ain't gonna lie. I never played basketball on the team, bro. For me, I was always fake. I wasn't. I was never that, like, nice for me, like, now I can fake, like, for me, like, give my skills to me, like, in middle school angle, I'm going to the league, man. Like, for me, we not even going. [00:05:34] Speaker C: You thought I was going to the A. [00:05:35] Speaker A: How do we. I was in middle school telling people I was in middle school. I told you this. I was in middle school telling my friends, we gonna see each other in the NCAA march, man. Look at me now, bro. I'm in a D3 school, not playing no sport. [00:05:50] Speaker C: He's just good. That's crazy. [00:05:53] Speaker A: Yo, bro, Most I do is Lee Ho, bro. I'm a role player. [00:06:01] Speaker C: I was dunking all abroad, yo. [00:06:05] Speaker A: Wait. Talking about Lee hoarder. Like, we gonna transfer a little bit. Talking about Leehold. Last year, my freshman year, I used to go to Leehold a lot. And this is why I said last episode, I used to go to Leho a lot. That's how I, like, made most of my connections here in Moswo. I got a funny story. When I was playing Bull, I was going against Nick on a five. On five, right? Me and Nick ain't know each other for real, like, filming. We really. We wasn't really speaking like that. He goes in like he's dribbling for me. I'm like, damn, bro. Like, he's fake nice. Like, I ain't gonna lie. He's fake like I'm playing defense, but I'm hacking like I'm fake following him. He's not calling. I'm like, damn. Like I'm fake free wreck if I'm. If he's calling these files for me. So there was a point. Like, I wear glasses and all that. There's a point. And I still. I wear my glasses while playing the game, like, filming. Like, I can't. I can't do nothing for my glasses. There was a point. Nick driving for the layup. He does a little. I think it was a Euro step. Yo, elbow to my face. Oh, my God. Yo, elbow to my face. Glasses flew off, bro. You think yo glasses flew up, yo, you know what moment? I felt like I watched Uncle Drew. Y'all seen that, like, in the beginning of the movie when he was a little kid and he got his shot blocked. That where did my mother's off of? But I ain't gonna lie. I never feel motivated to go Lee ho ever again after that, bro. I'm like, yo, Nick out here apologizing to me, you know, Like, Nick was, like, my fault. You know, I ain't mean to hurt you the whole time. I really just want to rko Nick, bro. I'm like, I'm like, yo, what's going on, bro? Like, you think embarrass me, bro? Like, I like the. The weak link off my file, bro. I'm not jogging, bro. [00:07:40] Speaker C: Bro, you found your glasses. Somebody else found your glasses. [00:07:45] Speaker A: What? [00:07:46] Speaker C: You found your glasses. [00:07:46] Speaker A: Somebody else n. Somebody picked up my glasses for me, bro. I even. Bro, I was dead ass. Like, I was. That, like, what just happened? Like, I was just playing some defense, bro. Out of nowhere, bro. My. My. Feel me? Like, I just. [00:08:03] Speaker B: Got to get him out the way. [00:08:07] Speaker A: Yo, you crazy, Brian. Yo, bro, but let's. Let's. Let's switch to the topic. Let's switch to, like, national sports for me. So, you know, we haven't done a episode in mad long. Like, it's been a minute. So a lot of things has happened. And one of the biggest things that I feel like happened in national, like, basketball is the Luca trade for me. Luca going to the Lakers. How y'all feel about that? How know it's. It's already like a month in, right? Like a month into that trade. How y'all feel? How y'all feel about Nico Harrison letting the go? Luca Donch. [00:08:43] Speaker C: Dallas got fleeced. [00:08:44] Speaker A: Dallas got. Oh, my God. Yo, you know, I think. I think Anthony Davis came back yesterday, and I think he's dead hurt again. I think he's like. I don't know if he's hurt, but he's out again. Yeah, he was. He was playing against the Nets yesterday. [00:08:56] Speaker C: I didn't even watch that game. [00:08:58] Speaker A: I don't think he really. [00:08:58] Speaker C: The Wi Fi down exactly. [00:09:00] Speaker A: But that's another topic. Can we do better with the Wi Fi, please? Gaming. The gaming Wi Fi, please. I'm begging y'all. [00:09:11] Speaker B: Begging y'all. Come on. [00:09:12] Speaker A: But how y. Like, how y'all felt about the trade at the time when it happened? [00:09:16] Speaker C: The Lakers went off rip cuz l got. Luca got a lot of time ahead of him. [00:09:21] Speaker A: I say the Lakers won just because it's like, all right, Dallas got Kyrie. Kyrie is never healthy for an entire season. Like, I'm sorry. Like, Kyrie's amazing player, though. Like, I'm never going to take that away from him. He's probably, like, healthy. He could be like, he's definitely top 10, like, of all times healthy. Feel me. But it's some top five. We about to hold on. Let's. Let's. Let me. Let me finish my statement real quick. And we get into that. But feel me. But he's a person that get hurts a lot. Anthony Davis, somebody that get hurts a lot. So it's like, yo, we're giving away our big man and that's what somebody was like. That's what most of the Lakers fan was scared of. Like we're giving away our big man and we got to play like small basketball. But it's like you're giving away somebody that doesn't really like. Not that Anthony Dave is not a factor because when he's playing for the Lakers he's giving you 30, feel me? But like is he actually playing? Like that's weird. So it's like you're giving away somebody that's getting her a lot and you're getting. You're gaining somebody that's like for me he's giving. He's still giving you 30. The only thing is like his defense. Yeah, that's. [00:10:29] Speaker C: That's why I was like, I still take Luka. Y team you don't got. [00:10:34] Speaker A: I ain't going to lie. I'm definitely taking Luka on my team still. Like cuz it's like at the end of the day we got other like defensive players. We got Jackson Hay has been improving as a player a lot. [00:10:45] Speaker C: Yeah, but I see the Bulls gave them work the thing, bro. The rookie, the rookie had him in the. [00:10:55] Speaker A: I told you he was nice on OKC though. He was. But he wasn't really like I don't think he wasn't getting the numbers he was getting. [00:11:01] Speaker C: He didn't have as much of a role he did. [00:11:04] Speaker A: It was more of like, it was like not as important. Cuz you got sga, feel me like, you got sga, feel me like for real, bro. And it's like he's playing majority of the minutes, bro. So for me, Josh Gay not really gonna have his time. And then the Bull just gave away what's his name, Zach Levine. So it's like for me, they got. They don't got the rose. They don't got Levine no more. Levine. Levine is with. On the Kings. He's with the Rose. [00:11:35] Speaker C: What's it called? The Aaron. [00:11:39] Speaker A: Yeah. But Victor and Beyond is out. The spurs still look nasty, but they're not. They're not making the players. They're not gonna do nothing. [00:11:45] Speaker B: No, I did that. Could. I feel like Stephon Castle stuff on. [00:11:49] Speaker C: Castle and what's on the cell. They got Hoopers, bro. [00:11:53] Speaker A: Andy Fox, but everybody got Hoopers. This is more like when you're the. When you're the Kings and you're going against my Knicks. So it's like what's going on like for me like you're going against a real team, bro. Like, what's going on, bro? Okay, they probably look like some dogs against, like, the nuts, but the next. [00:12:13] Speaker C: Don'T be nobody important. Y'all don't get to the playoffs, they get spanked. [00:12:17] Speaker A: So I'm serious. Y'all thinking that. Mitchell Robinson coming back. [00:12:23] Speaker C: To me, Towns. [00:12:24] Speaker A: Mitchell Robinson was. Mitchell Robinson was locking up your best center for me. Except for Jokic, nobody. I ain't gonna lie to you jokers. I don't think there's ever a person I could say, yeah, I locked down Jokic. Like, he wasn't somebody easy to guard. Like filming. [00:12:41] Speaker C: I mean, he gonna make an effect on the game regardless, though. Yeah, he gonna pass. [00:12:45] Speaker A: Yeah. Either rebounds for me. [00:12:49] Speaker B: I mean, Dwight Howard locked down. [00:12:52] Speaker A: When was this? [00:12:52] Speaker C: Dwight Howard is a different type of. [00:12:57] Speaker A: When was this, though? It wasn't just during the bubble. The bubble? Yeah. Come on, bro. Bubble. [00:13:01] Speaker C: Lakers was first of all, bubble basketball was great basketball. [00:13:05] Speaker A: We had. We had Jamal Murray Drop a 40 again. [00:13:08] Speaker C: Dave Lillard in the bubble was a crazy thing to watch. [00:13:11] Speaker A: What? Who else is wild in the bubble? [00:13:13] Speaker C: Yo, Dave Leonard. [00:13:14] Speaker A: Yo, y. Y'all remember. Y'all remember that shot? It was somebody from the Bulls Valentine, and it was like, they had, like, 20 seconds left, and it was down, like, yo, is he in the A still? I don't think he's an A. I. [00:13:28] Speaker B: Don'T think so, bro. [00:13:28] Speaker A: He probably in the G. And that was that. In the bubble he was feeling himself, bro. He thought this. He thought bubble basketball was rigged. [00:13:36] Speaker C: He probably seen everybo here. He checks. He thought he had. [00:13:40] Speaker A: He thought he was. He thought he was me for a second, bro. How do I tell? Not my fault. [00:13:44] Speaker C: How you feeling? You got the takeover. [00:13:45] Speaker A: Yeah. Yo, if I get tape, man. Yo, I'm telling you, bro, like, go to. [00:13:50] Speaker C: Now we got to go. Who play 21? [00:13:52] Speaker A: Y don't want to play 21. [00:13:53] Speaker C: Okay, next P. We coming back with the results. [00:13:56] Speaker A: NASA's being A. Can we talk about how last time me and Nate played ball, I killed him. I hit you with a. Yo, yo, where to, Nate? I didn't hit you with a. I hit you with a meme. I hit you with a meme. No, what? I hit. I think I did. Like, I was dribbling. Feel me? I dribbled. I, like. I think bumped you, right? And then I did. I did a little. I did a little. Feel me. I brought this. You don't remember? [00:14:19] Speaker C: Trying to think if I remember this. [00:14:20] Speaker A: Yeah, your chain went the other way. I kept him so bad. His chain. I definitely did miss. I said my chain. Move. [00:14:30] Speaker C: Chill out, chill out, chill out. [00:14:31] Speaker A: I ain't gonna lie. Nick laughing. Nick laughing. Like if there was a time he wasn't playing one on one, I hit him with sign two, bro. [00:14:39] Speaker B: He not wrong. [00:14:40] Speaker A: Yeah. I'm telling y'all, bro. Like, all of this, at the end. [00:14:44] Speaker B: Of the game, it's still bta, but. [00:14:46] Speaker A: I just want the pot to know. I just want the pot to know. I got a bag. The bag is not there all the time, but when I'm feeling nice and they know what I mean. When I'm feeling nice, I got a bag. All right, but going back to what you were saying, Kyrie being top five, if he was healthy. [00:15:07] Speaker B: Without a doubt, of all times. [00:15:11] Speaker A: So what's the top five with the Kyrie list? [00:15:13] Speaker C: Curry. I'm not. That's not in order. [00:15:15] Speaker A: Wait, no, no. Of all times. [00:15:16] Speaker C: Of all time. [00:15:17] Speaker A: You got Curry? [00:15:18] Speaker B: Yeah. How can Curry not be in your all time? He's your generation. [00:15:23] Speaker A: Come on. [00:15:24] Speaker C: I was Curry. Who's your top five? [00:15:26] Speaker A: That's what I want, my top five. I got Jordan. Obviously, there's nothing you said. [00:15:32] Speaker C: What we count. [00:15:33] Speaker A: I'm counting. General. I'm general. [00:15:36] Speaker C: Guards. [00:15:36] Speaker A: No, in general. Every. Like, all times. All players. [00:15:39] Speaker C: But MJ wasn't a point guard, though. [00:15:41] Speaker A: He was a. But I'm not just. I'm not just C. Cate. I'm not categorizing it just as the guards position. Yeah. I'm saying, like, every. All five. Yes. Like, all position. So Curry is still in your top five with all position. [00:15:56] Speaker C: Yes. [00:15:57] Speaker A: Curry. Yes. Okay, I got Jordan. I got LeBron at one. [00:16:01] Speaker C: Okay. [00:16:01] Speaker A: Jordan, number two. After. After this. This is not in order. So, like, those are my top two. Everything else is not in order, but they're still my top five. I got Kobe, right. I gotta put Tim Duncan there. Feel me? And I gotta put shot for me. You cannot tell me Curry or Kyrie filming is better than anybody. I just need. [00:16:27] Speaker C: Okay. [00:16:28] Speaker A: Like in career wise. Career wise. [00:16:30] Speaker C: Career wise, bro. Curry. And I'm not even a Curry fan. I don't even like going to state. I despise something about him. You can't. You can't. You can't discredit what. What Stephen Curry has done to the end. [00:16:42] Speaker A: But I'm not discrediting it. I'm just saying naming him a top five is crazy, bro. Name him. [00:16:47] Speaker C: Nobody's done what he's done. Do you think anybody's gonna do what he's done? [00:16:51] Speaker A: You never know. I don't know people were saying that nobody will ever do what Michael Jordan did. Look at LeBron James. Look at LeBron James. How do I tell you when we. [00:17:00] Speaker C: Talk about Goat James, we're talking about something that's something that's otherworldly. Like what are we talking about? He's an alien, bro. You can't compare nothing. [00:17:10] Speaker A: My song really gets older and gets better. Okay, so name your top five. I want everybody okay. And, and yeah, like Curry, Braun. Okay. [00:17:23] Speaker C: Katie, Tim Duncan. [00:17:27] Speaker A: Shaq Curry, Braun, Tim Duncan. [00:17:32] Speaker C: Katie is shot. [00:17:33] Speaker A: Where's Michael Jordan? [00:17:42] Speaker C: I see the video of him getting somebody in the. Behind the free throw line. He's by the three point line and they just letting him shoot freely cuz. [00:17:48] Speaker A: They wasn't shooting threes back then. [00:17:50] Speaker C: You can't greatest ever. You better, you better, you better. You better hit a great. You better hit a LeBron you3. How you, you better put that in the air. [00:18:00] Speaker A: So Michael Jordan not your top five. You lying if you say Michael Jordan not your top five. [00:18:05] Speaker B: I, I agree with that, bro. [00:18:06] Speaker A: Michael Jordan not being in top off. Doing a rage, baby. [00:18:15] Speaker C: I don't know. There's a lot of basketball that's been played, bro. [00:18:19] Speaker A: So Jordan on your top five. [00:18:22] Speaker C: My personal top five. [00:18:23] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:18:23] Speaker C: You might be in like a subjective top five. [00:18:25] Speaker A: Okay. That's what I mean though. Like, all right, we can name, you can name your personal top five. But when we're talking about in general, like okay, objectively your opinion Assad, like filming like realistically, bro, like a good top off. [00:18:37] Speaker C: Braun, Jordan, Kobe. [00:18:41] Speaker A: Curry's not there. He's not exactly. [00:18:45] Speaker C: But I'm talking about like impact. Katie was crazy, but you can't. It was crazy. [00:18:51] Speaker A: Okay. LeBron was a crazy impact right now. [00:18:53] Speaker C: Michael Jordan was crazy impact his whole career. They said he, they said he was the chosen one before you even touched. [00:18:59] Speaker A: Jordan had a big impact too. Yeah, I mean I'm naming people that had a great. Nah, I'm not even gonna say greater impact than Kirby, cuz Kirby he, he that changed the game. I'm not, I'm not even going to do that. But I don't think he had a bigger impact than them too. I don't think he had a bigger impact than AI. [00:19:17] Speaker C: Okay, but you, you have to, you've seen what their impact has done in like in later time. It's still early in impact, but AI too, not AI was early 2000s. He had time to, for us to watch his impact happen. We still don't know what, what, what Curry impact. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Yo, all Come on. Now we know Curry impact was just shooting, and that's it. Like, come on. What else he. What else he's going to do? [00:19:41] Speaker C: Yo, bro, off ball, off ball. [00:19:43] Speaker B: Offense, he moves without the ball frequently. [00:19:46] Speaker A: All right? But like I told him about if he could. Yeah, he can make more impacts now, but he's done. [00:19:51] Speaker C: No, he's not done. [00:19:52] Speaker B: He's never done. [00:19:54] Speaker C: You don't know that's real. But at the same time, this kid, there little. Little kids watching him. I grew up watching there little kids. That said fourth grade. That's probably getting dumb nights. They probably in the gym, work every day. [00:20:04] Speaker A: Kids. [00:20:04] Speaker C: That's kids. [00:20:05] Speaker A: That's four years old is not, bro, they're looking fourth grade. [00:20:08] Speaker C: Yeah, I was in the fourth game. I was in the gym, but I was watching the next game. I was doing everything Joe Johnson was doing. [00:20:13] Speaker B: How do we tell you I wasn't doing the two. The two dribbles at one time? [00:20:16] Speaker A: Come on, bro. [00:20:22] Speaker C: I was working. [00:20:26] Speaker A: Yeah, I bought a weighted bull. Yeah, you had a weighted ball? [00:20:29] Speaker B: Nah. [00:20:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I never had a weighted boy. [00:20:31] Speaker C: I got a breedable off of somebody off a trainer, though. He gave it to me. [00:20:35] Speaker A: So they free? [00:20:36] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:20:36] Speaker A: Y'all getting free gear. Name? You? [00:20:38] Speaker C: I got jerseys and, like, clothes. I don't know if I want to pay for it. [00:20:43] Speaker B: I'm not gonna lie. [00:20:45] Speaker A: Some things be free, but something they'd be taxing. [00:20:47] Speaker B: Yeah, it depends on the team, the chemistry. [00:20:50] Speaker A: Like, how close you with the coaching. [00:20:53] Speaker B: Coaches don't care about. [00:20:55] Speaker A: I heard some coaches be having, like, when they do they. They trials. Like, they already had a team set out. [00:21:00] Speaker C: There was no trial. I went to train with him, like, three times, and he was just like, I got an AAU team pull up, and I just came. [00:21:05] Speaker A: That's valid. You see people see me play, they start laughing. They say, oh, you really think you're nice and bold? I'm like, all right, but I wish I had an opportunity to go to a U team. But now, going back to, like, the Luca situation, how y'all feel about the big three? I know what I'm talking about. No, you see why you got AR13? I'm talking about Luca. LeBron. And LeBron. Luca. LeBron. LeBron. [00:21:39] Speaker C: Oh, man. [00:21:40] Speaker B: Are we talking about Bronnie? [00:21:41] Speaker A: You know I'm talking about Bronnie, but Bronnie. [00:21:43] Speaker C: Bronnie Fake. [00:21:44] Speaker A: Can you have respect? No. That's what I'm saying. Can we put respect on his name? Like, can we put respect? [00:21:49] Speaker B: 39 is. [00:21:50] Speaker A: 39 is nasty, bro. [00:21:53] Speaker C: He don't get comfortable. It's gonna get scary. [00:21:55] Speaker A: But my son cooked Giannis undertakumbo. Yeah. And my son had to file because Yanis know if he would have made that, he would have been. Bro, that would have been on Sports Center. Top 10 first take, bro. [00:22:10] Speaker C: They gonna be quiet on the can. [00:22:12] Speaker A: Yeah. You know, Stephen ain't not saying take back my. [00:22:14] Speaker C: My statement. [00:22:15] Speaker A: How y'all. How y'all feel about, like, LeBron pressing him, though? [00:22:18] Speaker C: I respect it. [00:22:18] Speaker B: N. That's. That's a good father, right? [00:22:20] Speaker A: Yeah, that's a good father. But I'm not gonna lie, bro. Like, again, king, bro. That's my king right there, bro. Like, LeBron's, like, the best player ever, bro. But you got to take it into a. A point of view. Like, Stephen A Is doing his job. Feel me. Like, if I'm. If I'm doing my job and I'm talking down on your kid, like, there's two things. Stephen they should have never spoken about, like, fatherhood or anything or, like, what LeBron should have made Bronnie do. Because at the end of the day, it's Bronnie's life and Bronnie career, and this is what he want to do. LeBron doesn't have. LeBron has to say, obviously, like, that's his pops and his pops probably, like, his pops is one of the best basketball players ever, but it's what he want to do for me. So, like, Stephen A bringing up, like, well, LeBron should have, like, mentored him to do is fake crazy for me, because you're not gonna hear, like, oh, LeBron, your pops, or, like, your mother. Like, for me, you're not gonna hear Stephen A talk about his parents. So for me, that I feel like that should have been, like, kept aside. Like, you shouldn't have to bring that up. But in general, as criticizing Bronnie, like, every player needs criticism filming. Like, you can't. You can't try to be like, yo, don't criticize my son because he's in a bad position. [00:23:33] Speaker C: I feel you. But at the same time, you gotta understand Brody trying to become his own. His own person. And then he just came off a heart injury in college. He's still like. [00:23:41] Speaker A: But you still. I'm still. I'm still. I'm still criticizing him. How do I tell you? Like, you in the A, bro. I can't. I can't. [00:23:47] Speaker C: I don't know. I'm not gonna lie. If I have LeBron power, I'm using it. If I know I run the League. How do we tell you better be quiet without a doubt when you speak on my legacy, my next, my next kin. How do we tell you? [00:24:02] Speaker A: Yeah, I think brawling gonna be like an impact on. Not impact on the game because that's a big word. But for me, I think he's gonna be more than just a role player in the eight. [00:24:12] Speaker B: There's always room for him for improvement, obviously. And he's showing it. So it's about. It's only a matter of time. [00:24:19] Speaker A: You think he'll go, bro? You think he'll ever reach that point that he's like the player of the team? Like he's the player. [00:24:27] Speaker C: It's no telling. [00:24:27] Speaker A: You think so? [00:24:28] Speaker C: By the same song. I think Bryce gonna be nice. [00:24:32] Speaker A: Bryce. [00:24:32] Speaker C: Cuz I was thinking. Cuz I'm thinking be like more poised. But Bryce might be like the person to wake everybody up. [00:24:38] Speaker A: I. I heard like in the chip game they just had, he only had like seven points or something. [00:24:42] Speaker B: Or like that's numbers for him. That's like what sets him. [00:24:46] Speaker A: But it's. [00:24:47] Speaker B: It's like a contr. Like it. He contributes to his team. [00:24:51] Speaker C: Like when Sierra Canaan, they always fill a five star. You're not gonna get the ball. [00:24:56] Speaker B: That's true, that's true. I mean it depends on who you are, cuz. [00:24:59] Speaker C: Yeah, cuz bronnie was again Cassius Stanley. [00:25:06] Speaker B: Me that was a demon. [00:25:08] Speaker A: But. But even like I L. Broning was never in a bad team. Cuz even in middle school his team was stacked. He had Mikey, he had. It was him. He had some football as well, bro. He has that. [00:25:24] Speaker C: There was a kid named the point guard, bro. [00:25:26] Speaker A: There was one that had a three point contest. Not a contest. I know he did have cups and it was nice. [00:25:33] Speaker C: And what's it called? [00:25:34] Speaker A: What's the. [00:25:35] Speaker C: The little guard, bro. [00:25:36] Speaker A: He was nice. [00:25:37] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. He played Illinois or something like that. He was nice. [00:25:41] Speaker A: There was one that had a flat top. I think he was fake tough too. [00:25:45] Speaker B: I think Mikey had a friend. [00:25:48] Speaker A: No, no, no. Mikey was nice, bro. You think he could like make it to the. [00:25:54] Speaker C: He's not getting much taken on us on UCF right now. [00:25:57] Speaker B: Cuz they just a team full of demons, bro. [00:25:59] Speaker A: Yeah, they got a. [00:26:01] Speaker C: They got seven foot guard on 18. [00:26:03] Speaker B: Your big guard, bro. [00:26:06] Speaker A: Bro, that's a. That's like. That's like an unofficial. What's it called? [00:26:09] Speaker C: That don't make no sense. [00:26:12] Speaker A: I never watched. Be scary. [00:26:13] Speaker C: Imagine every team as a dude 7 foot guard and they moving crazy. [00:26:17] Speaker A: But that's the Game now, bro. Like, that's what yo angle. Yoga did a lot to the game. Yeah, Yoga did a lot to the game, bro. [00:26:26] Speaker C: Nah, y the first big like big guard. Well, big purse, like big taller person that we see, like a guard, bro. Yeah, but Katie was. Yo, Katie was someone to see in like 2012, 2013. [00:26:38] Speaker A: But we was. [00:26:38] Speaker C: I had the jersey. I was sitting there like this with my jersey on August, we had a game winner in the corner, bro. [00:26:44] Speaker A: It was a great. [00:26:44] Speaker C: The greatest day of my life. And then Russell Westbrook was right behind. [00:26:47] Speaker A: Him, dogging that year. They should have won the chip. [00:26:52] Speaker C: But if he would have stayed, they could have did it, bro. I still think it really. If they would have kept hard, they could have definitely did it. [00:26:58] Speaker A: I don't think. I don't think Harden would have never. [00:27:00] Speaker C: Like, he wouldn't turn what he is. [00:27:02] Speaker A: He would never blow style like, as the player for me, like, because he would have the opportunity. It's kd Russ. [00:27:09] Speaker C: He probably would have though. [00:27:11] Speaker A: Think so. He was on the bench. [00:27:13] Speaker C: I don't think he would have seen on the bench if he could have definitely ran two and Katie ran three. [00:27:17] Speaker A: Yeah, but you think he still would have been the player he was in Rockets. [00:27:21] Speaker B: No, no. [00:27:22] Speaker A: He needed to go through. That's what I'm saying. [00:27:24] Speaker C: He need a free raider on a team. But he probably could have still got that after a chip. How do we tell you? [00:27:30] Speaker B: He probably could have been like, okay. [00:27:33] Speaker A: See, could have had a chip, bro. [00:27:36] Speaker C: OKC was going toe to toe with Miami year after year, bro. [00:27:39] Speaker A: Not yet. No. [00:27:41] Speaker C: When he left, I was hurt. [00:27:43] Speaker A: I ain't gonna lie, bro. I was shocked, bro. [00:27:45] Speaker C: I had the jersey. I contemplated burning. My mom didn't let me, bro. [00:27:48] Speaker A: I promise you, not yet. Them jerseys. [00:27:54] Speaker C: I had the rip away pants when I had the candy sevens, bro. [00:27:56] Speaker A: You crazy, bro. I bought my kid a jersey. He burns it. I'm like. [00:28:04] Speaker C: I got the news. I was heartbroken. [00:28:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I being the LeBron fan, bro. Like I said, yo. Like, they really formed the Avengers, son. Like, this is really end game, bro. Like, yo, if that team would have stood, like, I'm not going to lie, that team still right now, they would have won every championship game since 2017, bro. [00:28:26] Speaker C: Them with Jordan pool would have been nasty game. [00:28:29] Speaker B: That would have been nasty. [00:28:30] Speaker A: I'm the only reason again, the only reason Katie don't got another ring right now. It's because of injuries. [00:28:35] Speaker C: No, the only reason Keto had a ring right now because he wears a size 18 shoe. [00:28:42] Speaker A: He was never gonna Win the chip that year, though. [00:28:43] Speaker C: Well, that was. Yeah, we wouldn't beat the messy. We would have beat them that series. And then we was going to kill the songs. [00:28:49] Speaker A: You think I would have killed the Suns? [00:28:50] Speaker C: Yeah. Milwaukee killed the Suns themselves. And we almost rehab Milwaukee on the on the ropes like this. [00:28:58] Speaker A: But like, y'all gotta understand, like, Joe Harris, bro. [00:29:00] Speaker C: I still. [00:29:01] Speaker A: Yeah. Joe Harris, bro. [00:29:04] Speaker B: You would never be able to come back to Prospect or anywhere near downtown. [00:29:08] Speaker C: Yo, Joe Harris Band. [00:29:10] Speaker A: Yo, bro, this. This should be like a Joe Harris. Like, hey podcast. Like, I ain't lie. Joe Harris name is always my mother. My son Nate always sending Joe Harris a message. [00:29:22] Speaker C: I can't stand him, bro. Cuz I keep. [00:29:26] Speaker A: Bro. [00:29:26] Speaker C: I keep seeing that game in my head. I keep seeing him shooting this, bro. [00:29:30] Speaker B: Miss after, miss after. [00:29:31] Speaker C: But he's. He's getting paid to sit in the corner and do nothing while Katie sitting here doing turn around three pointing his hand. [00:29:39] Speaker A: That's got specialty. I'll be giving bread to like crazy people. Like giving money to Ben Simmons. [00:29:45] Speaker C: Ben Simmons. We gave money to Killian Hayes. [00:29:47] Speaker A: I mean, come on, bro. The next gave money to OB Topping, bro. Like, come on, bro. We was. We were doing. We were doing dumb. No, not. Oh, not OB Topping. My fault. Kevin Knox. We. We. We driving tx, bro. Like, come on, bro. Like, yo, bro, just the was nasty. [00:30:04] Speaker C: At high school, though. [00:30:05] Speaker A: He definitely was. [00:30:06] Speaker C: As soon as I heard his name, I thought about the next day, bro. [00:30:08] Speaker A: Hey, he was nasty the next two, bro. Straight garbage. Garbage can, bro. How do I tell you, bro? Stinky boy, bro. Like, yo, bro, my son used to get me tight, bro. Oh, my God. That probably the worst draft pick I ever seen in my life, bro. Then he. He going to have the audacity to pull up in a Fortnite suit. Say that, bro. Fortnite. Like, yo, come on, bro. [00:30:30] Speaker C: Like, n. Let's see. Hooper, you got. You got to. You got to keep a straight and narrow path, cuz. Nobody want to hear any extracurriculars unless you drop 30, bro. [00:30:37] Speaker A: Like, nah. But yo, besides basketball, feel me like, a lot of things been happening in football too. Like, well, DeAndre Hopkins and the Ravens now DK Metcalf teamed up with George Pickin. Feel me? Yo, we got Jam. Jam once J. Damn Jam Winston's on the Giant. [00:31:00] Speaker C: Okay, Can I speak on that? Well, I hope that the Giants don't take Cam Ward. I hope he takes Shador. [00:31:08] Speaker A: That's. [00:31:09] Speaker C: I need. I need James to be a good men. [00:31:11] Speaker B: You want Shador over Cam? [00:31:12] Speaker A: Yeah, the Giants Olan's not good. Yeah. [00:31:16] Speaker C: I seen at the pro day he was cross his defeat, bro. And if you're not gonna have time to get ready, bro, how do we. [00:31:22] Speaker A: Tell him whatever team came more because K. Mo is definitely top three picks. [00:31:28] Speaker C: Yeah, for sure. [00:31:29] Speaker A: If he get drafted to the Titans, it's still a bad. It's still a bad team for him. If you get drafted to the Bears, it's still a bad team. Well, I mean, the Bears. [00:31:38] Speaker B: The Bears is okay. [00:31:39] Speaker A: Yeah. But like, I doubt they will even drive K. Moore. I feel like again, like, so where he going? He's gonna go to the Titans, but he's gonna. He's not gonna be happy with that choice. [00:31:49] Speaker C: You didn't go trade him or try using somebody else. [00:31:52] Speaker A: Nah, they don't try to keep him. Bros might go to. Okay, look, if y'all don't get Shadir, like, if Shadir goes second round, second pick y'all have, y'all should get Travis. That would be the smartest pick besides Genty. But I don't feel like. Yeah, not that y'all don't need a running back. Yeah, I feel like filming. Y'all already had the running back experience to say Quan. And y'all see when I got y'all for me. Yeah, my son bugged out. I'm not gonna lie to you, bro. But I'm happy he got his. His ring. [00:32:26] Speaker C: I want him to get mvp. [00:32:29] Speaker A: Nah, bro. The only reason I don't need it for a TD is for my parlay. Yo, bro, I ain't care about nobody sc, bro. I ain't care about the Super Bowl. I'm give it a, bro. [00:32:40] Speaker C: Like, DeAndre Hopkins on the Ravens changes it, though. [00:32:44] Speaker A: DeAndre Hopkins and the Ravens does change. [00:32:46] Speaker C: Lamar get one now. [00:32:48] Speaker A: We say this every year, though, bro. Like he got last year. [00:32:51] Speaker C: He could have got one this year, though. [00:32:53] Speaker A: He could have. [00:32:53] Speaker C: He got sold. [00:32:55] Speaker B: He sold himself. [00:32:57] Speaker C: The whole team sold. They crumbled. [00:32:58] Speaker A: Nah, bro. [00:33:00] Speaker B: Every playoff here is the same. [00:33:02] Speaker A: That Misc, though. Yeah. [00:33:04] Speaker C: Mark Andrew down, but he's not. [00:33:06] Speaker A: But the thing is, like, I hate him. People do, like, give, like, send hate to him. Cuz at the end of the day, I wouldn't be in a position without him. Like, my son is nice. Like, my son is really a factor. We're not going to move. Like, he's not a factor for the Ravens. [00:33:18] Speaker C: It's just. It wasn't a good time for it to happen. [00:33:20] Speaker A: It wasn't. It wasn't a good time. [00:33:22] Speaker C: That was just a moment. Where you needed to be perfect and he just wasn't there. It's cool though. They gonna get it back. [00:33:27] Speaker A: I. I thought this was the Bills years, bro. [00:33:30] Speaker B: Honestly, bro. Supposed to be the Bills year. [00:33:32] Speaker A: Feel me, like. [00:33:34] Speaker B: But you know, the script is written out. [00:33:35] Speaker A: You know, Vegas made that call. I wouldn't mind the Bills when. But I just want New York to win, bro. [00:33:43] Speaker C: I feel that. [00:33:44] Speaker A: I mean like even if it's upstate. [00:33:45] Speaker C: Like anybody but the jets. [00:33:49] Speaker A: Because he's crazy, bro. Now we got J. Fields. How do I tell you? He about to draw. He about to throw 70 yard bombs. How do I tell you, bro? But we think, we think we did bad. Dropping my son, Devonte Adams. I ain't like that. [00:34:01] Speaker B: Not yet. [00:34:02] Speaker A: Because it's like if we go and drop him, we might as well. He's still like, he's worth a lot. We could have traded him for, but we dropped him. [00:34:10] Speaker B: Yeah, he's gone. He went, he, he took the boat. [00:34:14] Speaker A: With Aaron Rogers, but they didn't, they didn't drop Aaron Rogers yet. [00:34:17] Speaker B: Now he's gone. [00:34:19] Speaker A: Now nothing happened to him yet. He's still. Is he home? [00:34:22] Speaker B: I seen that they were releasing him. [00:34:24] Speaker C: Devonte Adams in the league no more. [00:34:26] Speaker B: Now he probably in the lead. [00:34:28] Speaker C: He probably gonna get a contract. But not right now. [00:34:30] Speaker B: Not. Yeah, I, I honestly, I think he's on the Rams, bro. I'm not sure. [00:34:34] Speaker C: We got picked up quick. Oh no. [00:34:38] Speaker A: Oh no. I think, I think Aaron Rodgers inform Vikings they are his preferred team. Aaron Rogers going to the Vikings. [00:34:46] Speaker B: Come on, bro. I mean, Sam Darnold out of there. [00:34:50] Speaker A: That's a bum right there. But Aaron Rodgers or Jettas, bro. Justin Jefferson, that's nasty. [00:34:55] Speaker B: Come on. [00:34:55] Speaker C: I think still got it. [00:34:57] Speaker A: Roger, bro, he was bugging like, Remember he threw a Hail Mary? [00:35:03] Speaker C: I definitely was seeing the edits. [00:35:05] Speaker A: He was like, he still was throwing Hail Mary like he, he had one of them crazy ass Hail Mary's this season. Still. It was just more of like, bro, we don't want you. Not that we don't want you. Okay. That's crazy. We don't need you. We don't need a quarterback like, like you right now, bro. If you feel me. Like the jets, we need a, we need a young quarterback. We need a young mobile quarterback for me. And that's what Justin Field is going to provide for us, bro. Feel me? Like, that's what Justin Field gonna provide for us, bro. [00:35:31] Speaker C: We need an old line. [00:35:32] Speaker A: Nah, y'all need a miracle, bro. I need a miracle. [00:35:39] Speaker C: 20, 30 chance. [00:35:45] Speaker A: That's a Bro, y'all done me this, like, playoffs like, three years ago, bro. [00:35:49] Speaker C: That was a year, my son. [00:35:51] Speaker A: That was a year, my son, my son. [00:35:54] Speaker C: We thought. [00:35:54] Speaker A: We thought Danny Jones was Danny Dimes. [00:35:58] Speaker C: He was going take us everywhere. [00:35:59] Speaker A: Yeah, I paid him back, bro. Yo, he robbed y like, he legally, bro. [00:36:03] Speaker C: All my teams be getting robbed, bro. We just throwing out money for the fun of it. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Team gets robbed, bro. [00:36:08] Speaker A: N. Yeah, probably. [00:36:10] Speaker B: Except for the Knicks, though. I'm not going to lie. [00:36:12] Speaker A: Julius Randle literally put on his face mask and he put on his face mask. He said he backed up a big ass G and he said, yo, give me all the money. Y'all not leaving. And they gave him all the money they could. He did trash. He do enough. His, his, his, his, yo, his attitude trash. Like, I would never want somebody like him in my team ever, bro. For me. Why are you mad? Because you got a new number one filming and that was a nasty team. Rj. Julius, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Mitchell Robinson, Isaiah Har. [00:36:47] Speaker C: But even when he was y number one, y'all didn't even like him being number one. [00:36:51] Speaker A: We didn't like him, but we didn't like him being on number one. Cuz at the end of the day, you're doing dumb things with the bull. Film me. You trying to drive it with, like three people in the paint. And you got Jalen Brunson, Wayne in the wing, like. [00:37:01] Speaker C: Yeah, but as soon as Jaylen Brunson got that rock, how do we tell you to win? The city shifted. [00:37:08] Speaker A: How did he tell you n Jaylen Prson when he came to the Knicks, bro? I'm not going to lie. It's like my. My world just brightened up. [00:37:14] Speaker C: Might be playing him too much, bro. Cuz that's what he did to Derrick R, bro. [00:37:18] Speaker A: Yep, bro. But I don't know, bro. He's not a bad coach, though. Like, feel me, tips is a great coach. [00:37:26] Speaker B: I'm not going to lie. [00:37:26] Speaker A: But it's like his decisions on playing time is that crazy? Like, why are we playing Carl Anthony Towns at one point when we was up like 20 points in like the fourth quarter? So, I mean, like, it's things like that. Like, it's like it separates you from being a good coach to an amazing. [00:37:42] Speaker C: That's another reason the Nets didn't win that chip this that year, bro. [00:37:45] Speaker A: Who was y coach? [00:37:47] Speaker C: Wasn't it Steve Nash? [00:37:48] Speaker A: Oh, I can't stand. [00:37:50] Speaker B: It was Steve Nash. [00:37:51] Speaker C: And a couple years before that, we had Jason Kid. We keep picking up these old point guard Coaches and they don't do anything for us, bro. [00:37:57] Speaker A: Word too. I seen. Yeah, yeah. I got Steve Nash as a coach. I swear I thought I was. Yeah. I said damn everybody. [00:38:05] Speaker C: But we had Steve Nash and then we had Harden, Kyrie and kd. How could we not win the champ? [00:38:09] Speaker A: Y had Nick Clason. Claxon Claxton was nice. [00:38:13] Speaker C: Still doing what he do though. [00:38:14] Speaker A: But I feel like Claxon best year was his D rookie year like my son was W. That's why I got. [00:38:19] Speaker C: Him paid all that money. [00:38:20] Speaker A: Yeah, he was bargain. Feel me? [00:38:21] Speaker C: I don't think the N ever letting them go for a minute. [00:38:24] Speaker A: Clax, they don't keep on a hold to him. [00:38:26] Speaker B: And sharp too. [00:38:27] Speaker C: They like sharp. I hope, I hope we. We pay Camp Thomas by the end of the season, bro. He's trying to act. [00:38:35] Speaker A: If you wanna, if you want to take that train and come to the msg. How do I tell? No, I won't. I won't be upset. [00:38:44] Speaker C: Nah, that's our future. [00:38:45] Speaker B: Imagine Ken Thompson next, bro. [00:38:47] Speaker C: No, I don't want to imagine that. That's a walking 40. He's coming off the bench. [00:38:52] Speaker A: So imagine definitely is coming off the bench. Cuz he's not starting over nobody right now. [00:38:58] Speaker B: N. He could situate that bench though. [00:39:00] Speaker A: He can. [00:39:01] Speaker B: He'll take Campaign. [00:39:04] Speaker A: I like campaign right now, bro. Like, I'm not going to lie. I'm not mad at Campaign. He's. He's taking Miles McBride rule for real. Cuz Miles McBr is really the leader of that bench. In my opinion. Right now he's starting cuz J. Brun not playing. But for me, I don't like the way he plays when he starts. Like he's really impactful when he comes on the bench. I'm not gonna lie to you. We can't. We can't start somebody that's gonna drop 11 points in the whole like 40 something minutes. Like we need that Jalen Brunson 20 games, like 20 points a game, bro. [00:39:32] Speaker C: That's another thing. If y'all relying on one person have an off day in a series. He got two of those. It's not, it's not that we're in a slump. [00:39:40] Speaker A: It's not that we're relying on a person because at the end of the day it's like, okay, say Brunson. Say Brunson. Have a bad game. We got Mikhail Bridges, we got OG it's just more of like the energy and like the, the. The how you say it. Like the, like the chemistry is There with the starting file. Feel me. Once you mess up with the starting. Once you mess with the starting five, it's like, feel me. Like, that's real. You messing the whole, like, rhythm up for me. Like, yo, you know, but talking about, like, chemistry and all that, I ain't gonna lie, as a Knicks fan, I was very upset when we traded Dante and when we traded Isaiah Hans. [00:40:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:40:15] Speaker A: Like, I'm not gonna lie to you. That would have been the best, like, chemistry team ever in the NBA right now. Dante. Nah, he would have had. Following that year Jalen Makai wasn't on the team. Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm Chad here right now. [00:40:33] Speaker C: It would be Mikhail. [00:40:34] Speaker A: It would have been Jalen Brunson. Mikhail. It would have been OG. [00:40:37] Speaker C: Yeah. And then Carl Anthony Times or then who else? [00:40:42] Speaker A: They should. [00:40:42] Speaker B: Should have put Mitchell if they didn't. [00:40:44] Speaker A: I mean, I'm starting hard and starting over Mitchell right now. [00:40:47] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:40:48] Speaker A: I'm not gonna lie. That's a walking double double right there, bro. I mean, then, yeah, Dante would have come out the bench, but I don't think he would have mine. Like, he was doing that last season too. [00:40:55] Speaker C: It'd still be fun though, because they all together and they all went to college together. [00:40:59] Speaker A: At the end of the day, the five is still going to be in the same, like, in the court at the same time. At one point. For me, that would have been nasty. I'm not gonna lie to you. Like, that's really like a full circle moment, bro. But for me, next is always doing some dumb things, man. Like when we. We gave. We give away people for free. We give them away for a bag of chips. It'd be nasty, bro. So it's like filming, like, and then we get nothing in return, bro. Like, but it's whatever, bro. We gonna get this chip this year, next year, bro. Yeah. What you mean this year? I ain't going to lie. [00:41:37] Speaker B: I generally don't know, bro. The NBA is too mixy, bro. [00:41:40] Speaker A: They are. [00:41:41] Speaker C: The Celtics could probably do it again. I hope Celtics give it. I don't like the Celtics. [00:41:46] Speaker B: I feel like the Thunder could dead. [00:41:47] Speaker A: Yeah. I see OKC coming out the west and beating anybody out there. [00:41:50] Speaker C: Probably No. I don't know. If they make it out the west. [00:41:53] Speaker A: What do you think? Gonna beat them? The Nuggets not beating them this year. [00:41:55] Speaker B: The Nuggets, they could beat them. [00:41:57] Speaker A: I don't, I don't. [00:41:58] Speaker C: The Nuggets are competitor every year, but. [00:42:01] Speaker A: I think, I think, I think, I think the Dungeon Lakers. [00:42:07] Speaker C: I like my brain LeBron James game, conference final. It gets scared. [00:42:15] Speaker A: And LeBron James Jr giving you, like, 20. 20 a point, bro. How do I tell you, bro, if. [00:42:20] Speaker C: We'Re gonna get another ring, I don't want to hear any more over LeBron slander. We are done with the 90s. [00:42:26] Speaker A: If Braun gets another ring while he's in the same team as kid, I'm not gonna lie to you, bro. I don't want to hear nothing. Like, I'm dead. I'm dead. Going to YouTube. I'm logging into every basketball page, and I'm deleting every video of Michael Jordan, bro. Like, recent, his history, bro. How do I tell you, bro? Like, we're not doing none of that for me. [00:42:45] Speaker C: Like, I think you're gonna retire after how many more seasons do you think. [00:42:48] Speaker A: He'S waiting for his other. Like, you think he's waiting for Bryce? [00:42:50] Speaker C: He could wait for Bryce. It's only two more seasons. [00:42:52] Speaker A: Only. [00:42:53] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:53] Speaker A: The only thing with these two. With these next two seasons, if he does wait for Bryce, they definitely going sit him out way more than usual. Like, he's not gonna be playing. Like, I feel like he should be playing less than half the season, bro. Like, I'm not gonna lie. [00:43:06] Speaker C: I don't know if he want to. [00:43:07] Speaker A: Do that, but it's like, bro, you're 45, bro. Come on. Your phone's getting tired. You think? [00:43:17] Speaker C: I don't know, bro. [00:43:18] Speaker A: The way he's looking now, bro. He don't like. He look like he could give me 10 more seasons, bro. Like, you give me 10 more season for me, but it's just. I don't know, bro. I don't know. [00:43:30] Speaker C: Doing the same thing. [00:43:32] Speaker A: Katie, not that old Katie, like, 37. [00:43:34] Speaker C: That's only three years. And Katie, Katie not slowing down. He tore his Achilles. He. His numbers went up. [00:43:41] Speaker A: Giant super bowl winning QB Russell Wilson reach agreement on one year deal worth up to $21 million. [00:43:51] Speaker C: That just means we have Russell Wilson on the Giants. [00:43:55] Speaker A: Yeah, I got Russell Wilson on the Giants. Yo, I was about to search up how old is Kevin Durant? And I seen espn. [00:44:09] Speaker C: I think we still trying to get a quarterback. Or we go for Travis Hunter. [00:44:13] Speaker B: Go for Travis. [00:44:14] Speaker A: Yeah. Y'all still need a young quarterback. Russell Wilson, he could be a vet. [00:44:18] Speaker C: He'll be a good. [00:44:19] Speaker A: Yeah, he would. [00:44:20] Speaker C: I don't know if you can get a chance at Travis Hunter and do stuff with Russell Wilson and back there. [00:44:25] Speaker A: He ain't have a horrible se. He had a good season last season. Yeah, he had for me. It wasn't no legion boom seasons for me. [00:44:32] Speaker C: But, like, you don't have the team around him anymore. The legend was that. That's Seattle Nasty. Offense and defense was wild. [00:44:40] Speaker A: That team was nasty. Not giving. Not giving my son. Oh, my gosh. [00:44:46] Speaker C: He was hating, bro. Story. [00:44:49] Speaker A: What? [00:44:49] Speaker C: You seen the story? Marlin said that Pete, Carol and Russell Wilson didn't like him and they didn't want Marshawn to get the mvp, so they had Russell Wilson throw it. [00:44:57] Speaker B: Yeah, they had him throw it. Yeah. [00:44:59] Speaker A: I ain't going to lie, bro. Having secret animosity to your teammates and letting that get away from you, like, letting that get in the way from you getting your ring. That's crazy and nasty. [00:45:09] Speaker C: And that bonus, bro, you. You land and block the money. [00:45:12] Speaker A: Let me tell you, I ain't going to lie. That's probably, like, the dumbest thing that I could. [00:45:17] Speaker B: Like, that's insane, bro. [00:45:19] Speaker A: Like, just put your pride aside, bro. Like, worry about your. Yeah, you being Tom Brady, bro. [00:45:24] Speaker C: No, literally, you're beating Tom Brady insane, bro. When I first seen him k, I didn't even know what happened. Start running. I'm like, it wasn't until bro dropped. [00:45:33] Speaker B: On the ground and I seen him with the ball. [00:45:36] Speaker A: Yo, yo, yo, hold on, hold on. Talking about Tom Brady. What y'all think about the Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady argument? Do y things? [00:45:41] Speaker B: Patrick Mahomes is a bum. [00:45:42] Speaker A: Let's just start n. Hold on, hold on. He's a bum. I was saying that too, cuz. Like, I was just happy that he lost this year. But realistically, like, talking. I personally. I personally would say that Patrick Mahomes is over Tom Brady. What? [00:45:58] Speaker C: How many. How many rings Tom Brady got? [00:46:00] Speaker A: Tom already got seven. Patrick Mahomes got like, what, three? [00:46:03] Speaker C: I don't know if you could get. [00:46:04] Speaker A: But, like, remember Patrick Mahomes? This is like eighth season or seventh season for me. We're not going. We're not doing that, bro. Come on, bro. [00:46:11] Speaker C: Tom Brady. Tom Brady had the whole league in fear, honestly. [00:46:14] Speaker A: But, like, yo, people were scared of Patrick Mahomes last season and this season. [00:46:18] Speaker C: Like, but Tom Brady added, like, is the longevity, though? [00:46:22] Speaker B: Not. Yeah, he. He's like the. The Kobe in that or even MJ football. [00:46:30] Speaker A: You think so? I mean, yeah. [00:46:31] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:46:31] Speaker A: I mean, yeah. I can't disagree, but I don't know when you got a quarterback that's mobile. He's able to run the ball. He's able to throw it, like, 70 yards. He's able to, like, film me. He could do more to just Stay in the pocket. It's very like, that's a hard topic. [00:46:47] Speaker C: Better help on. On the offensive line, who had a better wide receiver? [00:46:50] Speaker A: Tom Brady. [00:46:51] Speaker B: Between who? [00:46:53] Speaker C: The homes and Tom Brady. [00:46:55] Speaker A: Tom Brady when he was in the Bucks. [00:47:00] Speaker B: Tyreek hill. Oh, DeAndre Hopkins. [00:47:02] Speaker A: Juju. [00:47:05] Speaker C: Well, he got a Super bowl with the Bucks. [00:47:07] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, he got a Super Bowl. [00:47:10] Speaker C: That makes an argument with Mike Evans and. [00:47:14] Speaker A: Yeah, I forgot who else is on. [00:47:15] Speaker B: I think who now? Was Julio on that team? No, no, Julio was on the opposite team. He was on Matt Ryan team. [00:47:26] Speaker A: Hold on. I'm gonna tell you right now, bro, because I, I definitely got the receivers, baby. Had during that team. Yeah, Rob. Yeah, he had Rob. Rob is a way better title than Travis Maker. That's what I'm saying, bro. Like, feel me. [00:47:46] Speaker C: But Kelsey make a difference too. [00:47:47] Speaker A: Kelsey does not. Kelsey has not made a difference last year or this year. He is trash. [00:47:53] Speaker C: They keep putting Taylor Swift on the screen. [00:47:55] Speaker A: Like, he's trying. He's not even a real tight end, bro. He's a fancy robber. He's a big robber. Yeah, he's not. Not fancy, but he's a big wide receiver. That's what he is, bro. He's a ride receiver that comes off the lawn like, come on, bro, he's trash. Not trash. Okay, I gotta stop throwing that word around. [00:48:11] Speaker B: But like, his performance of lately hasn't been. [00:48:14] Speaker A: It hasn't been what I expected, bro. Like, if you. If you won't have an argument whether you're better than Rob, I want you to have. Feel me. I want you to have full reception with 300 yards, bro. Like, come on, bro. I want you to have, like, I want you to be a reason why plays is working out. Cuz you're blocking. Feel me? [00:48:35] Speaker C: Like, was a force though, bro. [00:48:37] Speaker A: And it's like, bro, he didn't even have to c. Like he even need the bull to be a beast. I mean, like, he doing blocks. He, he, he. He providing for us to. Come on, bro. Like, we can't. We can't. [00:48:47] Speaker C: Football back then was just crazy, though. [00:48:49] Speaker A: Football back then was crazy. Imagine. Imagine you running the ball up the middle and you. You see my son, bro. [00:48:54] Speaker C: Imagine. [00:48:55] Speaker A: Well, what's his name? Ray Lewis. I'm dropping. I'm dropping. Yo, if I'm facing the Ravens, I'm. If I'm hitting the Raven, I'm telling the coach. I'm telling the coach, yo, my legs hurt, you know, I want. I feel like the second string should have it. I mean, the strike. The second string running Back should have his chance. And playing the game today, feel me. [00:49:23] Speaker C: Like, I want no problem out of the stretcher. [00:49:28] Speaker A: He hasn't even been playing, you know. [00:49:29] Speaker C: He'S not used to getting hit. You'll get him hit by Ray Lewis. [00:49:33] Speaker A: You got to do what you gotta do to be great. [00:49:35] Speaker C: That's like hopping in a car and driving an 18 wheeler, bro. [00:49:38] Speaker A: You gotta do what you have to be great, bro. For me, that's just one of the risks you got to take, bro. I'm sorry, bro. [00:49:43] Speaker C: Take that land. Take his life. He's going to take his. [00:49:46] Speaker A: I ain't going to lie to you, bro. I want to get hit by him. I want to get hit by Sean Taylor. [00:49:52] Speaker B: I want to get by Cam. Cam Chancellor. [00:49:54] Speaker A: And if I was. And if I was a linebacker, I'm not tackling Derrick Henry. [00:49:58] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:49:58] Speaker A: I ain't going to lie. [00:49:59] Speaker C: I see this. [00:50:01] Speaker A: Yeah, I might. I might hit him with a. I might. You know, just for. Just for film reasoning, like, I might just act like I try to tackle him. I just missed a tackle by accident. Filming. I'm sorry, coach. [00:50:13] Speaker C: Grab his ankle. [00:50:16] Speaker A: One of the players, you really just got to bite his ankles. You gotta aim for his ankles. And if you miss the tackle, you miss the tackle, your helmet might break in half, bro. Yo, bro, he got the legs of a. Of a monster. Him and. [00:50:35] Speaker B: Him and Saquon, bro, they could go quad off. [00:50:39] Speaker A: He squatted like 800. That makes sense. People been forgetting about Kamara, bro. [00:50:45] Speaker C: Kamara was nasty. [00:50:48] Speaker B: That's a rare one right there. [00:50:49] Speaker A: My son came back. What? Wasn't he locked up? He came back from. From. From. N. N. He. He's in the scenes. [00:50:55] Speaker B: I have no clue. [00:50:56] Speaker A: I think I. Yeah, he is in the scene. [00:50:57] Speaker B: The scene. Still. [00:50:59] Speaker C: Let me check when he got locked up for. [00:51:03] Speaker A: I think it was a deep. No, I'm not even going. Hold on. [00:51:05] Speaker C: He was nice, bro. [00:51:07] Speaker A: I'mma tell you right now. Camaro was ordered to complete 30 hours of community service. Kamara avoided a potential felony battery charge. [00:51:21] Speaker C: Oh, man. [00:51:23] Speaker A: My son, feel me? [00:51:24] Speaker C: But yeah, I think the CTE is not him, bro. [00:51:27] Speaker A: N CTE for NFL is really, like, a big thing. [00:51:30] Speaker C: We're Antonio Brown, bro. [00:51:32] Speaker B: The number one topic. [00:51:35] Speaker A: No, no, no. He's not the number one. Hernandez is number one, bro. Like, he bugged out, bro. I'm not going to lie to you. What was. [00:51:43] Speaker B: What was the full story of he. [00:51:45] Speaker C: Killed somebody and then he killed himself? [00:51:47] Speaker A: No, no. He killed more than one person. He killed like, three. [00:51:50] Speaker B: He killed more than one person. [00:51:51] Speaker A: He Killed like three. Who he killed, bro? You don't remember? He came out the club and like, he shot somebody at a red light. Oh, no. Really? He shot somebody on a red light for me and then he killed his sister. I think it was his sister's fiance for me. And I'm like, oh, once. And then he went to jail and he ended up killing himself in jail. [00:52:10] Speaker B: Damn. [00:52:11] Speaker A: I'm telling you. But CT is a nasty thing. Like, I ain't gonna lie to you. That's one of the things that I would like, like, advise people not to. Not. Not to play football. But, like, I don't know, because you can't tell somebody not be aggressive in football, bro. You can't tell like, you, You. It's physically impossible to not be aggressive. [00:52:27] Speaker B: In a can tell the punters to not be aggressive. [00:52:30] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, but I'm in. I'm in the pun team. I'm looking for somebody half bro. I'm sorry, bro. Like, yo, and that's the thing too. I think that's was one thing like, that people got to stop, like, recommending football for people with anger issues, cuz that's. That's fun. [00:52:45] Speaker C: You have to understand running into somebody and just tackle him has to be like, the funnest thing ever. [00:52:49] Speaker A: Bro, Bro, peep this right now, bro. So in high school, right, Y'all know I played center. I was never really on the defensive side unless it was like drills or something, like during practice. So me personally, like, people wouldn't try to hit me that hard because I was fake. The only person that knew how to snap on the team. And like, you know, once you got somebody that don't know how to, like, if there's. If there's a team and some person, the center don't know how to snap, like, you're. You, you. Yeah, Feel me? So I'm. I'm taking that to advantage, right? So there was a. A freshman. I forgot his name. That was my God. Or like, I ain't. That was my God. But he was getting me tight, cuz it's like he would fake me playing soul. And then like, he would be like, oh, how you going to tell me that I'm playing soul? But yeah, you. You getting happy because they not hitting you for real. I said, I watch this, bro. Watch this, bro. Oklahoma drills right now, bro. Lay on your back right now. We going to see. We going to see something, bro. Word two. He had the ball. First thing I look for. I ain't gonna lie. I was like, if he lowered his shoulders on me. I'm killing him. Like, it doesn't matter what he does, bro. I ain't gonna lie. I grabbed him first. I had to get the force fumble first. That's the first thing I looked for. He fumbled that, John. I grabbed him. I just like. I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. We was on the floor. We both was on the floor for like a minute, bro. I gotta hurt myself too. I was like, yo, bro. Cause because in practice, like, we will have our girdles on, but I wouldn't have, like, long, like, pants. I had, like, shorts so that the girdles could only resold like. Like feel me after. After passing knees. But you cook, bro. Bro, and we. We're not even practicing on the field. Like my school. We had to practice on a. Like a. A baseball field. [00:54:39] Speaker C: Oh, you bugging you like, we had. [00:54:41] Speaker A: To practice on the baseball field, bro. No, no, no, no. We practiced on something. Like it was Tri State park, but it's no turf and no nothing. Like, it's straight grass and like dirt. And feel me, when it was raining, bro, we played. We was practicing in the mud, bro. I feel like, yo first game, let me tell you, like us do, but us doing that prepared us a lot. Like our first game, it was a Raimi game, but it was on turf. So it's like, bro, we ready for this. Like, for me, we don't practice on dirt. Before. Before, like, it was things like that I thought was we were gonna be way better than what we were, you know? But for me, things go the way it goes for a reason. Bro, we got. Yo, we won 2 0, bro. We was 2. No, bro, 2 and 5 at the end of the season, bro. He getting killed, bro. We got killed by the worst PSAL team ever, bro. We. They killed us like 40 to 10. How do I tell you, bro, I'm hurt. I'm hurting the side. Like, I wasn't playing because I got hurt during like our homecoming game. Yo, but I'm in the song. Like, yo, bro, we really. [00:55:41] Speaker C: Yeah, I would turn around. [00:55:42] Speaker A: We getting killed. We getting killed. The son of making the QB look like a wide receiver, bro. The ball like this. Word to my mother, you know, like, the QB really looking, like. [00:55:55] Speaker C: Okay, I would think, like, after, like the first two snaps. [00:55:58] Speaker A: You will get it. You get it, man. Like, me too, bro. I ain't gonna lie. Me too, bro. [00:56:03] Speaker C: Now you still miss the snaps in the fourth quarter. How do we tell you. [00:56:09] Speaker B: Back in the game? [00:56:10] Speaker A: Yo, bro, we're. We're like, in the side, right? So, like, again, I'm hurt, so I'm not playing. I'm trying to practice with my center. Like, I'm trying to practice him snapping the ball. He's snapping the ball to me perfectly. I feel like. I think once he got in the game, he was nervous, bro. For me, because, again, that was, like, his first year playing football. It was also my first year, but it was more like, you already knew the base. Yeah, film me. I know the basis of football. I knew football in general. And it's like, I was just. I'm always a person. Like, if I'm gonna put myself into something, even if it's new, I'm trying to be the best at it. Feel me? So, like, a lot of people don't got that, like, mindset. And I. Like, he did. I'm not gonna lie. He was. He wanted it. But it's like, you can't do much when you're nervous, bro. For me, the light's too bright, bro. I'm sorry, bro. Yo, yo, yo. Like, okay, so the topic again. But. Yeah, but what's the worst, like, trash talk I received about playing, like, basketball? Like, it could be, like, in your hometown in. In the park. It could be au game, like, in general, like, anywhere. [00:57:12] Speaker B: There's too much. In. [00:57:15] Speaker C: El park, before it got renovated, it was peak times. Everybody. [00:57:19] Speaker B: Everybody was arguing. [00:57:22] Speaker C: What was the worst thing ever said to me? [00:57:26] Speaker A: There was nothing really crazy said to me. It was just more of like, let him shoot. And that hurts, though. Like, for me, you. You think you can shoot. You hear somebody say, let him shoot. Like, angle. That takes away somebody. I definitely did not hit it, bro. How do I tell you? [00:57:41] Speaker C: You gotta keep letting it fly. [00:57:44] Speaker A: I ended up, like, 0 for 20, bro. I'm sorry, bro. [00:57:47] Speaker C: I remember when I was younger, I used to play against the older kids, and they would be. There would be some kid on the sideline, like, he's killing. He's killing you. [00:57:52] Speaker A: Look bad. [00:57:53] Speaker C: He's killing you. And then. Then he'll turn his friend over. His friend trying to put me in the post. [00:57:58] Speaker A: I'm like, that's crazy. [00:57:59] Speaker C: Like, what am I doing, man? [00:58:02] Speaker A: That's crazy. Now, you ever got told he's playing. [00:58:05] Speaker C: FS n you ever doing still N. Multiple times. [00:58:11] Speaker A: I definitely done told people they playing for us, bro. I could be the wackest one if I'm my team winning, bro. I'm talking, bro. I'm sorry, bro. [00:58:18] Speaker B: Yeah, bro. [00:58:18] Speaker A: I never been somebody. Like, I be trolling. [00:58:21] Speaker B: I. I love talk, bro. It's fun, bro. [00:58:23] Speaker C: I don't talk though. I just be like telling jokes. [00:58:26] Speaker A: First time I take jokes. N. Yeah, but that's. Wait, hold on. Patriots four time pro ball pro bull ride. Receiver Stefan Diggs reached three years 69 million deal with the Patriots. [00:58:43] Speaker C: Who's that QB Drake May. [00:58:48] Speaker A: I was gonna say Tom Brady. [00:58:50] Speaker B: No more cj. [00:58:52] Speaker A: No cedar shot in. What you mean? [00:58:54] Speaker B: No, but I mean like. [00:58:55] Speaker A: Oh, like, yeah. And when Stefan was healthy, it was nasty. [00:59:01] Speaker B: Exactly. I think they had Nico Collins. [00:59:04] Speaker A: They had Nico Collins. They had Tink though, when he was healthy. Tink though. Career might be. Might be coming to an end, bro. Filming really. But he's getting hurt too much. You seen the last one he got last. Last recent injury? I think it was an ACL tour. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. [00:59:21] Speaker B: In the. In the end zone. Yeah. [00:59:23] Speaker A: You seen it, right? It was nasty though. Like, it was like a nasty injury. [00:59:27] Speaker C: Bad, bad injury. [00:59:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Cause it's like, bro, I ain't gonna lie to you, bro. Not that it's impossible, but few athletes came back from an ACL time like was still in the same level they were playing before that. [00:59:38] Speaker C: Derek Rose came back, had 50. [00:59:41] Speaker A: What happened after that, bro? [00:59:43] Speaker B: I hope that happens for juju, bro. [00:59:45] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:59:46] Speaker A: Oh, juju Watkins, she tore at. She's. Well, she's tall. Like, she's nice. [00:59:50] Speaker C: She was like people saying she better. [00:59:53] Speaker A: Caleb. [00:59:53] Speaker C: Yeah. I'm not gonna lie. Kayla don't really have a bag. [00:59:57] Speaker A: She don't. She. That don't, bro. [01:00:00] Speaker C: Kayla just coming off the screen. [01:00:02] Speaker A: Wait, where Juju Watkins from? She from the city. [01:00:04] Speaker C: I don't know. [01:00:05] Speaker A: Her style fake reminds me from the city. Like the way she plays. [01:00:08] Speaker B: She played like. Like she played a dyman or. [01:00:10] Speaker A: Yeah, like she played in New York versus New York, bro. [01:00:14] Speaker C: Nobody going to speed up or nothing. But Kayin Kayn, cool. [01:00:18] Speaker A: She's nice. Like, we going. We gotta give her respect. [01:00:21] Speaker C: But when I'm talking about like when I think about hooping, like you get into it. Kaylin, come on off that screen. [01:00:26] Speaker A: She taking one dribble F boom. [01:00:29] Speaker B: Every single time. [01:00:31] Speaker C: Juju breaking you down here. You with a crossover. [01:00:33] Speaker A: Oh, she from Cali. [01:00:34] Speaker C: That's why she went. [01:00:36] Speaker A: I never met. No, like, there's a lot of Hoopers. [01:00:38] Speaker C: That come out of Cali though. [01:00:39] Speaker A: But like I'm talking about like, personally, like met a Cali basketball player. Like, feel me, like in person. No, no, like I done met players from. [01:00:47] Speaker C: I met anybody from Cali. [01:00:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:00:50] Speaker A: I don't even think I. I think they bowled. Like, I didn't think they. They're like basketball. Like, I ain't think there was heavy on basketball. I'm gonna keep it a book. [01:01:03] Speaker C: No, I'm not gonna lie. A lot of places that you wouldn't think is heavy on basketball is heavy on basketball. Ohio. But Ohio is obviously gonna be heavy on basketball. But there's a lot of states like. [01:01:11] Speaker A: Wisconsin heavy on basketball, but the south on the low. [01:01:16] Speaker B: But they more football too. [01:01:18] Speaker A: Yeah, you know how mad I'll be. But I'm a DB, bro. They have a DB. 100 yard bomb to the other end zone, bro. [01:01:29] Speaker C: Like, DB got to be a crazy position, yo. [01:01:31] Speaker A: DB is the hardest position ever. Like, I'm not going to lie to you. Football is really like. I think football is really the most technical and like, difficult sports to play. [01:01:41] Speaker C: Yeah, cuz everybody just running. [01:01:42] Speaker A: Yeah, bro. [01:01:43] Speaker C: You got to do everything technical with. [01:01:45] Speaker A: Soccer, though, in the defensive side. Yeah, you think so? [01:01:48] Speaker B: Because you can't even use your hands if. [01:01:50] Speaker A: Unless, bro, you got to sit there. [01:01:52] Speaker B: And use your feet while running. [01:01:55] Speaker C: Soccer been around for so long, it. It evolves a crazy thing, bro. That's how the A getting. That's why everybody worried about the A playing defense. But the game been going on so long. These moves getting. We need no one, bro. But n soccer get crazy. I seen some girl hit a bicycle, kick over a girl, head to one, kick into the. Into the back corner and oh my gosh. [01:02:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I try to get into soccer, bro. [01:02:18] Speaker C: My feet don't move. Like, my hands. [01:02:22] Speaker B: That's not the fake fun, bro. [01:02:23] Speaker C: No, it definitely is, but it's. [01:02:27] Speaker A: It's not. [01:02:28] Speaker B: It's too technical. [01:02:28] Speaker C: I'm not in Bob. [01:02:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I am not in Bob. [01:02:31] Speaker A: Nah. Yeah. Shout out, bro. [01:02:34] Speaker B: Shout out the Ninja Turtle. [01:02:38] Speaker A: Yo. How. Yeah, like, I don't know much about baseball, feel me? But like, talk about, like, morals in general. Like, how y'all feel about. Y'all know Juan, So. Juan Solo. [01:02:51] Speaker B: Juan Santo? [01:02:52] Speaker A: No, Soto. [01:02:53] Speaker B: Who that? [01:02:54] Speaker A: Juan Soto? [01:02:54] Speaker B: I think it's Han Solto. [01:02:57] Speaker A: He was in the Yankees. Yeah, he was in the Yankees. Now he's in the Mets. [01:03:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:03:01] Speaker A: How y'all feel about. Okay, so obviously Yankees lost the World Series to the Dodgers. For me, how you feel about him leaving the Yankees just for extra six mill and just to go to the Mets? Like, how y'all feel? Was that like, how y. [01:03:16] Speaker C: Okay. [01:03:17] Speaker A: People with more like. Okay. I'm not going to say he has no morals. [01:03:20] Speaker C: New York. [01:03:21] Speaker A: No, I think he's. [01:03:23] Speaker C: If he's not from New York, then he don't feel that same loyalty that you going to feel. How do we tell you? [01:03:27] Speaker A: But he. He's still in New York, though. He's still playing in New York. He just went from the Yankee to the Mets. [01:03:31] Speaker C: Yeah, but he doesn't have that same loyalty to the Yankees. He. He going for the money. [01:03:35] Speaker A: He's from Dominican Republic. [01:03:36] Speaker C: Yeah, so you probably didn't feel that same. I say love. [01:03:39] Speaker A: I mean, yeah, bro. Like, somebody coming from, like, me personally, I'm Dominican. Like, I know how my people think. Like, you just came from, like. I'm not. I don't know if he's from, like, the poor side of the or like, for me, but Dominican Republic as a country, a country as a whole is a poor country for me. So coming from a poor country to come to the National League of Baseball in America, like, you obviously gonna choose, like, money over anything. Like, for me, you gotta provide. Like, you're the provider now, bro. But it's more like, bro, just six mil, bro. [01:04:12] Speaker B: I mean, six mil could change a. [01:04:13] Speaker A: Lot of people's lives. [01:04:15] Speaker C: Just six. Miller got it crazy. Somebody hit me six mil, I'll be. [01:04:19] Speaker A: Like, oh, my God, I see what type of people y'all. Y'all backdoor. [01:04:26] Speaker C: Talking about some. I get 6 million. Talk about some jets. 6 mil. I'm looking at you like. [01:04:29] Speaker A: I mean, you try to love me. [01:04:31] Speaker C: Watch my six mil. [01:04:32] Speaker A: You gotta. [01:04:34] Speaker C: I gotta keep an eye on the six mil. [01:04:35] Speaker A: Because you gotta look at the contract as a whole. Like, he's getting like seven. Something like, either way, he was gonna get 700 million for years of playing the battle. [01:04:44] Speaker C: 700 million? [01:04:45] Speaker A: Yeah. So you're telling me just because you. You don't leave the. The team. You just made no sense. [01:04:50] Speaker C: Why would they get paid so much? [01:04:51] Speaker A: But it's like a 13 year contract. [01:04:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. They're like. They're sucking that. [01:04:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:04:56] Speaker B: Unless they, like, disobey. [01:04:57] Speaker C: But still, somehow I played Thirteen Little Years. [01:05:00] Speaker A: N. Yeah, but 13 years. Thirteen years, bro. [01:05:03] Speaker C: Like, but I'm living lavish when I'm doing it, bro. I don't have to worry about food. I don't got wor. My crib paid for. I got the latest wet. [01:05:10] Speaker A: Yeah, Juan's a little young, too. He got a 15 year contract for 765 million the Yankees is offering him. I'mma tell you now, if it's only. [01:05:22] Speaker C: If he had 700 million, he went. [01:05:23] Speaker A: For the 6 million. [01:05:24] Speaker C: I don't know. [01:05:25] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying. Look, the Yankees offer him. [01:05:27] Speaker C: I gotta stay in that point a. [01:05:29] Speaker A: 760 million for 16 years, including a 60 million signing bonus. [01:05:35] Speaker C: It's probably another part of the contract that you didn't mess with. [01:05:40] Speaker A: Bro. But that's. [01:05:41] Speaker C: Come on, you don't know the whole logistics. It might have been a clause in there that he didn't like. [01:05:46] Speaker A: Probably. [01:05:47] Speaker C: It wasn't more years. [01:05:48] Speaker A: It was one more year for 6 million less dollars. 5 million. So if you really did it for 5 million, it was like, come on, bro, that's heavy, bro. You just made the World Series, bro. [01:06:01] Speaker C: But for me, do it again. [01:06:03] Speaker A: You said what I did. The Mets, I think the Mets, my average, bro. I hope they do it for the. [01:06:08] Speaker B: Culture in New York. For real. [01:06:09] Speaker A: The Yankees? [01:06:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:06:11] Speaker A: I mean, if the Mets do it, you feel me? I was about to say that. And that's possible. It almost happened. But what's his name, bro? The highest paid pitcher, bro. Hold on. [01:06:31] Speaker B: I wish I was more in tune with baseball. [01:06:34] Speaker C: If I knew they was getting 700 mil contracts, I would have been throwing the ball out. [01:06:37] Speaker B: I would have been, bro. [01:06:49] Speaker C: I probably got dumb. I would have figured out something. Short stop, catcher, something. [01:06:54] Speaker A: I ain't going to lie. If I would have knew that too when I was in second grade, bro, I'm, I'm. I'm diving in the dirt for the, for the, for the baseball, bro. [01:07:02] Speaker B: Tell me, bro. [01:07:02] Speaker C: I'm have a bucket of baseball just hitting them. [01:07:05] Speaker A: I'm not letting no home runs neither, bro. Like, if I see, if I see about to go out the park, I'm jumping over the gate. I'm jumping over the gate. I'm catching 99 by the time I'm a sophomore, high school 99, bro. I might. Well, I'm breaking your bat if you try to make contact with the ball, bro. I'm sorry, bro. But now, yeah, we get into that time. Let me film you. For me, it was a good talk. I feel like this is a good. This is a great episode. Nick, we appreciate you coming out here and speaking to us.
